Rescues and artists collaborate to make a unique piece of art!
A must watch please. This absolutely gorgeous painting entiltled “paw prints” is a truly one-of-a-kind (1.65m x 1.4m) painting because it was created by 7 rescue dogs with the assistance of 2 internationally renowned artists Glen Josselsohn Art and Joel Berman a.k.a Bermano. Each artist, both 2 legged and 4 legged, have added their own, unique touch to create this masterpiece! This painting has been created to raise awareness of animal welfare, the work that PETS does, to showcase the gorgeous little furry artists who are looking for homes and finally to raise funds for sterilizations of township animals. This painting is on auction from now until the 27th August. Reserved bid is R10 000. This painting (as depicted in the video) would look absolutely amazing in a lounge, entrance hall, reception or boardroom so we would love to see bids coming through from both private individuals and companies. And not only that but this painting is proudly South African! Please comment below with your bid and remember this is for the township animals. A very big thank you to Craig Hawks Hourquebie for putting this amazing video together and Petra Laranjo for arranging this all and to Joel and Glen for assisting us with such an exciting project. Bidding starts now! Good luck! Doggy artists featured in this video are: Ruby, Whitey, Bonnie, Clyde, Marie, Mickey (adopted), Lola (adopted), Kaiser (adopted), Tobey (adopted). Ruby, Whitey, Bonnie, Clyde & Marie are all still looking for homes. To adopt them email jhb@pets.org.za
