Shannon

Type Dog
Breed mix
Gender Female
Birthdate 1st of January 2016

Shannon was rescued from Orange farm township when she was found eating a carcass in a veld. Her rescuers managed to corner her in a property and catch her. She was terrified but eventually understood we were trying to help and wagged her tail whenever we gave her some love. She showed no aggression even when completely terrified. We found out that her previous owner had given her away after she had puppies as he wanted to keep the puppies instead! She obviously escaped from the place she was given to and decided to live in the veld instead. Shannon was riddled with ticks and despite being starving she had billary as well. She has since recovered and has been sterilised and vaccinated. Shannon is medium size and still young (maybe only a year). She is very loving and craves attention. She is excellent with other dogs and well behaved. She has not been tested with cats yet.
