Peta

Chris Hani, Twiggy and Peta became homeless when their owner managed to escspe from her alcoholic, abusive husband with her 2 children, sadly having to leave her 3 dogs at the mercy of her husband. She was very terrified that her dogs would be abused and begged us to take them which we did and they are now safe at our camp in the township.

Like Twiggy and Chris Hani, Peta has spent most of her young life chained and bolted to a concrete block makeshift kennel, she was very scared of people when we went to fetch her, she simply froze with fear when we touched her and simply couldn’t walk, we had to carry her to our car. She has now changed as she has begun to trust people and is happy and friendly craving the attention and love that she missed for so long. She loves people and other dogs but she hasnt been tested with cats yet, she is about 2 years old.
