Pebbles has an incredible story. She was rescued a month ago from the pure desert, 50km outside of Springbok and 30km from the Nambian border. A kind gentleman who was managing a construction sight in Springbok found her two days before they were getting ready to leave. It was raining at the time and she was extremely week- suffering from biliary, malnourishment and dehydration. He bent down to call her and she slowly ambled up to them and then just collapsed in his lap, burying her head in his arms. He scooped her up and rushed her to the vet for treatment. She also had burn wounds all the way down her back from having hot water thrown on her. How this little girl survived with NOTHING around her for miles and miles is beyond us.
Although she is the size of a 5 month old pup (small breed about Jack Russell size) the vet has confirmed she is already a year old as she has all her adult teeth. She is such a sweet dog who is a little princess although when she gets playing she can keep up with the best of them. She loves other dogs and is extremely agile and fast. She must have some greyhound in her somewhere. She is great with cats too and learns very quickly and is house trained.
All she wants is cuddles and kisses. She must be rehomed to a home where she will sleep inside and get the princess treatment she deserves.
