Bugsy

Type Dog
Breed small mix
Gender Female
Birthdate 13th of March 2010

We have known Bugsy since 2013 when she gave birth to a litter who we rehomed from the township. Bugsy was treated for hepatitis and she managed to recover and after she was sterilised she was in beautiful condition and returned home to the township. Unfortunately in December we found Bugsy in a terrible condition. Covered with scars and suffering from ehrlichia. She was very weak and giving up hope. Her owner told us some boys had used her as a bait dog to teach their dogs to fight. Bugsy would never fight back making her the perfect target.

Her owner surrendered her to us so we could find her a home where she would be safe. After being in foster care Bugsy is now her happy, fun loving self. She loves to play with other dogs, despite her passed experiences. She is great with children as well. Not good with cats though. Bugsy loves going on outings, she is excellent in the car and she is an incredible swimmer! At walkhaven she swims across the dam.

Bugsy would love to find a loving home.
