Blackie is one of two dogs who was surrendered to us completely emaciated. Their owner in the township has been unemployed for quite some time but finally got a job, however it’s in Limpopo. She’s could only come home some weekends. She asked her Neigbour to feed her dogs during the week when she works but they don’t like dogs and left them to starve. She asked us to take them on. Blackie is a very sweet natured, submissive dog who is good with other dogs. His former owner also says he is used to kids from 3 years old and up but not good with chickens or cats. If you can offer this boy the home he deserves or even just foster him please urgently email us jhb@pets.org.za
